To make something better, to increase the value. What could be more valuable than our oceans? What we as people do to the oceans determines the future of all life as we know it. Seas make up more than 71% of the planet’s surface. It is the responsibility of every person on this great planet to strive to improve this magnificent resource.
Advocacy and awareness are keys to conserving the oceans. By continued pressure on government bodies and corporations to the existing problems, real change can only be made. The writers’ opinion is that such bodies make small changes to please those they answer to.
Our weather, life, energy balances, nutrition and the survival of all life on this planet are functions of the existence and health of our oceans. What we as people do to those oceans determines the future of all life as we know it.
