Purpose
Oceans Harmony is partnering with Lodepale to launch an innovative Minecraft project aimed at raising awareness about marine conservation. The initiative uses the power of gaming to teach children, teenagers, and schools about the dangers of shark nets, the importance of sustainable fishing, and the protection of ocean ecosystems.

Community Impact
With over 140 million active players worldwide, Minecraft offers a unique opportunity to inspire change on a global scale. This project transforms complex environmental issues into fun, interactive learning experiences—helping players understand how their choices impact marine life while encouraging safer, eco-friendly solutions.

Gameplay Flow
Players become Junior Ocean Rangers exploring Sunny Beach. They discover shark nets in the water and quickly learn that while nets may make people feel safe, they harm marine animals. Diving underwater, players rescue turtles, dolphins, and sharks trapped in nets using eco-scissors. Finally, they’re given a choice: keep the harmful nets or adopt safer alternatives like lifeguard towers and eco-buoys. Choosing sustainable options creates a vibrant, thriving ocean—and earns them the Ocean Hero Badge.

Budget
This is a non-profit project fully funded by donations, with a total budget of $50,000. Every contribution supports game development, educational content, and awareness campaigns. 100% of funds go directly into creating a powerful tool for ocean conservation.
